Hello and welcome. This site is the portfolio, blog and online home of me, Paul Clark. |
I'm very proud to say that I've recently been appointed as the very first Certified Programmer for Stardraw Control. As a Certified Programmer, I can offer design and development services to integrators using Stardraw Control who need to leverage more advanced capabilities of Stardraw's .Net language platform. This includes developing custom drivers or extending existing ones. I first saw Stardraw Control at PLASA 2005 and I was impressed by the mix of current technology and innovative use of the topology design metaphor. This approach resounded with design concepts that I have had for many years, that offer the designer to create their project architecture in a visual medium, and for the resulting diagram to include some "intelligence" about the devices and how to access and control them. It is an honour to be appointed the very first Certified Programmer. Part of my certification involved development of Stardraw drivers to control the Extron family of video matrix switchers. I have also developed an add-in called the ScriptHelper, which has now been incorporated within Stardraw Control as a core feature (view the ScriptHelper tutorial). Check out Stardraw Control for yourself, and read about my Certified Programmer appointment. |

I'm a bit late in writing this review, so I hope my memory of the event hasn't faded too much. I can't recall how I came across d.Construct to begin with, but was pleased to see another technology event being based in Brighton, and was even pleaseder (?) to get in quick and bag a ticket.
